Jon Kohrs has dedicated his life to exploring the art and science of inner transformation. He is often described as someone who helps people get “unstuck” and reconnect with their authentic path. As a retreat facilitator, he draws from shamanism, Jungian alchemy, the Enneagram, and archetypal theology. His approach is not clinical but imaginal and immersive, inviting participants into a sacred dialogue with their inner truth. Through storytelling, somatic practices, and group ritual, Jon helps others meet themselves at the threshold of change. His work honors the symbolic language of the unconscious and guides people to reclaim forgotten aspects of Self. He is the author of Horribly Lovely, a poetic exploration of love, grief, spiritual bypassing, and the return to wholeness. Outside of retreats, Jon also consults with companies and creative teams on cultural transformation and inner leadership. He lives in Kansas City with his three children, where he continues his work bridging the personal and transpersonal realms. Jon also carries the literary heritage of his ancestor, the Slovenian writer Ivan Tavčar.
