This retreat is not open to everyone. One must be ready to meet the shamans, live in a very simple way, and receive multiple treatments from the shamans, along with a purification ritual. A journey through the steppes, on an original and pure land. A unique experience.
A moment for yourself on the sacred land of Mongolia and its rich history. The practice of presence, the practice of letting go, connecting with the earth, sky, fire, and water. Through meditation and silent walks, we will mindfully experience different states and explore mindfulness training techniques. Provided that we follow known trails, the journey to Mongolia is truly magical—an immersion into a personal, deep, and inner journey. A land of nomads par excellence, Mongolia never fails to surprise, offering an intense discovery of the vast landscapes of Central Asia. Leaving the capital, Ulaanbaatar, you will witness green pastures and vast deserts where the eyes and mind can wander freely.
Between steppes and light hikes, you will explore the natural wonders of this immense country—the least densely populated on the planet and undoubtedly one of the wildest and most majestic.
You will experience the serenity of endless horizons, barely disturbed by the gallop of horses. The proud Mongolian horsemen will welcome you with the warmth and hospitality of their nomadic traditions. Beautiful nights in a yurt, under the starry sky, await you. A chance to disconnect from everyday life.
This trip will accompagned by Jon Kohrs.
This trip will accompagned by Jon Kohrs.
Jon Kohrs has spent his life exploring the art and science of inner transformation. He’s been described as someone who gets others « unstuck. » Regardless of the label, Jon meets people traveling on their unconscious bridge between the personal and transpersonal realms. He helps them creatively experience the depth of their inner life to express themselves fully in the middle of the mess-part human and part spirit. As a retreat facilitator, Jon draws from his own journey through shamanism, Jungian alchemy, the Enneagram, and archetypal theology to guide participants toward greater freedom within. His work honors the symbolic language of the unconscious, helping people reclaim forgotten aspects of Self and embody new ways of being. Jon’s approach is not clinical or performative-it is imaginal and immersive, inviting people into a sacred conversation with their inner truth. Through story, somatic practice, group ritual, and archetypal inquiry, he helps others meet themselves at the threshold of transformation.
Horribly Lovely, is a poetic exploration of love addiction, grief, spiritual bypassing, and the long path home to Self. His writing is both blunt and beautiful-symbolic, dreamlike, and steeped in the language of the in-between. Outside of retreat work, Jon consults with companies and creative teams, helping them transform culture through inner development and intrapreneurship. He lives in Kansas City with his three children and is a descendant of Slovenian writer Ivan Tavčar.
